Flotilla 2-76 - Guardians of the Cradle of Liberty

Fifth Coast Guard District, Northern Region, Division 2, Flotilla 76

Guardians of the Cradle of Liberty since 1976

Founded in 1976 in honor of the American Bicentennial, Flotilla 2-76 has never tired in its devotion to duty. Flotilla members educate the public boaters of Philadelphia and its surrounding waters, perform maritime observation patrols to ensure safety in the world's largest freshwater port, and provides advanced training for any and all Auxiliarists in the area. Flotilla 2-76 is also one of the most diverse Flotillas in the Auxiliary thanks to its location in the beautiful City of Philadelphia, the Cradle of Liberty

We are the civilian volunteer component of the United States Coast Guard. We are also the nation's premier volunteer maritime search and rescue organization. More specifically we are people just like you: teachers, students, mechanics, retirees, even politicians and military members. We are people of all ages, races, creeds, and genders united by one thing: our desire to serve our country through the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.
