Why Join?
The Coast Guard Auxiliary offers its member unique opportunities to make a real difference. The Auxiliary is an opportunity to serve your community and nation, all while sharing in friendship and fellowship. Members also have unique educational opportunities in many fields that mirror U.S. Coast Guard training.
And with the Auxiliary’s three major service areas (Recreational Boating, Operations, and Mission Support) there is something for everyone. You can teach local boaters safety courses, participate in safety patrols, or help run the flotilla in local administrative support. Don’t feel like you have the experience? No problem! The Auxiliary will give you the training and experience to succeed in any role, whether is on the water or in administrative positions.
