IF YOU INTEND TO TAKE ANY OF THE ABOVE CLASSES, YOU
MUST CONTACT ME AHEAD OF TIME TO ASSURE THAT SUFFICIENT MATERIALS ARE ON HAND.
Members have asked me which
of the OSC is “easiest”. In my opinion, based on several years of teaching the
classes, from simplest to more complex, they are: Patrols, Seamanship, Weather,
Communications, Search & Rescue, and Piloting. None are beyond your
abilities. Take a class!
If you’ve completed any of
the above, consider teaching one or two nights of the course. This serves two
purposes; it keeps the subject matter fresh in your mind and it will alleviate
the workload on the primary instructor – ME! Thank you.
